If you haven't already completed our MovNat Mobility and/or Level 1 Fundamentals e-course(s), which are some of our most accessible programs, that would be a good place to start. That said, each of the Level Up modules contain warmups and progressions that can help condition you for the rest of the action. The movements are thoroughly explained and modifications are suggested for those who struggle with particular movements. So, if you're healthy enough to exercise, you can start using MovNat Level Up. And we're confident that it won't be long before some of those difficult movements become second nature to you.
This program contains beginner, intermediate, and advanced movements, with a special emphasis on helping you acquire intermediate level abilities across a brand range of skills. While it is not an ideal entry point for people who are brand new to MovNat or exercise, in general, beginners can absolutely use it since every training module contains safe step-by-step progressions. You can stop at any point, work on the step that needs your attention, and then move on to the next lesson inside the module.
You will need a comfortable ground surface (e.g. carpet, grass, etc.) for all the Ground Movements. Plus, some items to lift and carry (e.g. kettlebell, backpack, etc.). You'll also need a sturdy bar or branch to practice climbing techniques and a good “hip height” obstacle to vault over. Oh, and don’t forget a partner to practice some People Carries.
You’ll also need a computer or mobile device that can connect to the internet and stream video.
Each video lesson ranges from ~1 minute to several minutes. You can either watch an entire module all at once, which will take 20-45 minutes, depending on the module. Or, to save time, you can pick and choose the specific areas you'd like to work on. Generally, it takes about 3-6 months of consistent practice to master the skills contained in this program. We recommend practicing 2-3 times per week.
Absolutely! You can use this course with your favorite workout program, sport, or physical recreation routine. It could also be used as a standalone exercise program or movement practice.
